バンクーバーの新しいラーメン店!北海道の らーめん山頭火! ^_^V http://www.santouka.co.jp

History:

ある日、創業者の畠中が、ラーメン店が舞台の映画「タンポポ」を見たあと家族で食べた、とあるラーメン店の味に落胆。家族のために「俺がラーメンを作る！」と宣言したのが「らーめん山頭火」誕生のきっかけでした。

家族に絶賛されたそのラーメンで、旭川にラーメン店をオープンさせたのは1988年3月。座席はたった9席。メニューは塩だけ、他店と比べ値段も高いことから、店は全く流行りませんでした。困り果てて友人をかき集め、とにかく席を埋めてもらう状況が続きましたが、そうすると少しずつ、本物のお客様がやってくるようになったのです。

「奇妙な名前でいつも満席のラーメン屋」へ

その後、テレビや雑誌に「奇妙な名前でいつも席が埋まっているラーメン屋」としてたびたび登場。折からの種田山頭火ブームもあり、マスコミに取り上げられるようになると、あっという間に火が付きました。小ぶりの玉丼に入った細麺の上には、とろけるようなチャーシューと小梅のトッピング。それに加えてすっきりと底まで飲める上品なスープは、道産子にとっても初めての味だったのです。

山頭火名物の「とろ肉」チャーシューが誕生したのもこの頃。お腹を空かせた学生に、豚の頬肉を使用したやわらかいチャーシューを食べてもらいたいとう想いで作りました。
「わかりやすくて飽きないラーメン」が基本

創業当時、畠中仁が基本にすえていたのは、スープが最後まで飲める、チャーシューは肉の味がするなど「わかりやすく、誰にでも末永く食べ続けてもらえるラーメン」でした。それはすなわち、普通にある上質な素材を丁寧に手をかけ、何十年でも飽きずに食べてもらえるラーメンのことです。国内・そして海外に多くの店舗を展開する今日に至っても、その基本は変わることがありません。

Tomorrow will be going to Open House! Here’s my schedule as arranged by my realtor. I will have 2 or 3 more other open house visits as arranged by my realtor.

Personally right now, I’m leaning towards Coal Harbour. But let’s see what Yaletown as well as another apartment I really like has to offer. ^_^V
